Founding Farmers - Washington, DC

I love love LOVE the idea of brunch. Champagne at 11 in the morning? Thick cut bacon, runny yolk... can it get any better?

This is my favorite brunch place, hands-down. Too bad it's ACROSS THE COUNTRY, but that won't stop me from declaring it's the best.

+ hand-crafted cocktails
+ sweet n' sour thick cut bacon cooked just the way I like it (not too crisp)
+ hot-from-the-oven beignets
+ homemade raspberry sauce to drizzle over said beignets
+ the weirdest, fluffiest, weirdest poached eggs ever
+ the gorgeous open bar
+ the open, light-filled space
