My sissy-poo works for a sushi catering company (they cater a bunch of tech companies -- legit!) BUT she hates sushi (lol)! She's the one who recommended this place and for someone who doesn't eat sushi, she totally got it right.
+ baked scallop roll
+ they have a WHOLE section dedicated to non-raw sushi - yeeesss!
+ their salad dressing
+ my mom digs their sweet potato fries (the sauce that comes with it is delish, too)
+ their Korean food is really good, too
+ hip/ clean/ large space
+ cocktails! (but the bar area is quite small)
Only cons: price + you have to make reservations. But (!) those two reasons won't stop me from coming back!
