It's NOT wine country but it'll do!
ATMOSPHERE: smack dab in the middle of Santana Row. Adjectives that come to my mind when describing Santana Row include: high quality, overpriced, clean, fake, and pretty. The Vintage Wine Bar is small - slightly cozy (good), slightly cramped (not so good). They have a great little outdoor area, though, complete with fountain, umbrellas, and heat lamps! The service is friendly - not pretentious at all. One super nice girl got the heat lamps going for us because it was windy out while another young woman did a good job answering our questions and explaining the wines on the list.
WINES: Glasses range from $12 to $20ish. I say, go with the flight tasting! I was PLEASANTLY surprised - the wines were generous! I did the $21 Bubble-icious and it was tasty. They have a decent variety.
